For Lina yoga is a place where you can revisit your values, your true self and your core. She believes that your practice doesn’t end when you leave your mat, and that the experience continues to manifest itself in the smallest daily things.
Having a background in architecture she finds the combination of yoga philosophy and architectural creativity a very powerful tool in approaching both teaching yoga and being an architect.
Whenever Lina is teaching, she’s doing it with an open heart, care and compassion. Through the variety of carefully-sequenced asanas she might push you towards the very edge of your limits, but eventually, it will leave you grounded, uplifted and lighthearted.

Marla discovered yoga while living in San Francisco. It became a kind of therapy that re-energized her physically, emotionally and mentally. Beyond the building of physical strength and flexibility, there was also a heightened sense of awareness of how poses, emotions and tension felt in her body. She learned that she can use her breath both on and off the mat to handle life’s challenges – lessons that she strives to pass on to others.
Marla teaches yoga with compassion and kindness, and genuinely wants others to experience the many benefits that yoga might offer them. Her intention is to support her students in moving, breathing, and calming their minds by creating a safe and judgement-free space where students can discover and learn.
Marla has a 200-hr teacher training (Yoga Alliance Certified) from Yoga to the People with a focus on Vinyasa yoga. She plans to continue her yoga education journey with an 800-hr certification in Yoga Therapy.
